Attended the Stafford classes Attended the Stafford classes. Honestly one of the best decisions we made getting ready for our baby. The classes and Freya gave us confidence and readiness. Many occasions we had Freya’s voice in our heads from asking more questions, to asking for more time to answer, understanding the choices we had and the honest pros and cons that came with them. I would highly recommend this to anyone expecting. Undertaking the classes also gave us chance to meet others in the same position locally and build bonds and support networks, something that is so valuable, in what can seem like a very isolated world.

Worth Every Penny We attended Expecting Antenatal Classes in Stafford in September, and can’t speak highly enough of them. As two healthcare professionals we did not expect to learn as much as we did. From what to expect during labour, to how to bathe, feed, and safely sleep next to your baby, all topics were covered. Freya kept us engaged, informed and relaxed the whole time. No question was too stupid, no answer was too vague. We feel prepared and excited for the imminent arrival of our little one, and we have made some excellent friends along the way. We would thoroughly recommend attending for anyone who is expecting.

We also found it to be so beneficial to meet other first time parents to be, who we have stayed in contact with for support. Freya goes above and beyond to answer any questions and to give advice. Me and my husband attended Lucy’s classes. She was amazing. We learned so much from her. I would recommend first time parents to attend her classes. She’s so lovely and is always happy to help.

Face to Face Class Me and my husband have recently completed the 4 week face to face course at Stafford. Had a mix of emotions before going as first time expecting parents, but Freya soon put us at ease. Each session was nicely balanced and wasn’t rushed at all, we were all encouraged to ask any questions we had and the group environment really helped. Freya was also really supportive if we had any questions in between sessions or after the course had finished, always replying either with a message or voice note. I now feel a lot more knowledgable, supported (both by Freya and also the group) and empowered to make the decision that I feel are right for me and baby. Cannot thank you enough Freya!

We thoroughly enjoyed the Stafford antenatal course with Freya, and are sad that it has now ended! The content was broad yet detailed, interspersed with group discussion, and delivered in a wonderfully enthusiastic manner by Freya who is a lovely lady and clearly very passionate educator. I look forward to the reunion already, and staying in touch with not only our group of new parents, but also Freya whose advice we have already been grateful recipients of since the classes finished. Worth every penny and more, thank you so much Freya :)

Lucy is lovely and makes you feel really welcome at the classes. They are informative, a good way to meet other future parents and ask any questions you have. We are so happy we chose to do antenatal with Lucy. She really is the perfect for her role and hosting the groups. Thanks.

We completed Freya’s antenatal classes with my husband back in March and can’t recommend her enough. Freya has a lot of knowledge and experience from working in the UK and abroad. The class was set in a lovely and relaxing environment and it was something we looked forward to every week . We were lucky to meet other couples for this class and get to know them. Freya answered all of our questions and concerns and gave us the confidence we need as first time parents. Thank you so much Freya!

Informative and relaxed We attended the weekend antenatal class in Stafford and found it incredibly helpful. Freya was fantastic, her extensive midwifery experience made information easy to understand and she was always happy to answer any questions we had. The atmosphere was really friendly and relaxed, which made it easy to engage and feel comfortable throughout. We left feeling much more informed and prepared for what’s ahead! We’d definitely recommend this class to other expectant parents.

The expert midwife Stafford antenatal classes … We attended the full weekend antenatal classes in Stafford, and would definitely recommend! We have a lot of family and friends that have all had children and we were unsure if we should do antenatal classes; however as first time expecting parents ourselves we found the classes super helpful. It was a lovely relaxed non-judgemental environment, we gained a lot more insight into the labour, birth and first few months of babies life than we ever thought we would and left feeling reassured and excited for what’s to come! Freya is a really kind and caring midwife her expertise really shines through and she took so much time explaining and reassuring anyone that had questions or wanted advice. We can’t recommend Freya and her classes enough !

Clueless first time parents We are first time parents who were very clueless about parenting. We had also been told a few days before the class that our baby was breech. This worried us that it might have been pointless attending, but we were very wrong Freya answered all our questions regarding a planned C Section birth and the recovery which has extremely put our mind at ease. We would 100% recommend attending one of her classes even if you are planning a c section. The detail she also goes into regarding the first month or so of our baby’s life has given us the confidence to actually start getting excited rather than nervous about our new adventure.
