We found Freya's Expecting classes via Google and were amazed at the fantastic reviews left by others so we knew this was the class we wanted to attend. Freya was amazing in the way she delivered the sessions, covering everything you need to look after a newborn. With Freya being a practicing midwife, she was aware of all the up to date guidance so was able to inform us of these which made us feel confident in caring for our child when the time came. Freya also gave us access to electronic resources that so we could refer back to whenever we needed it. The classes are so relaxed and enjoyable and she also made these sessions practical. It was such a great class, everyone was so nice and Freya made every session so insightful, which was great for me being a new mum. It was very good for my partner too, as he felt he learnt so much from this course.
I learnt about useful tools, I never knew about and it definitely helped me with my birthing experience!

Freya is very knowledgeable, welcoming and always happy to help. She was able to send us the first two videos of the session due to me and my partner having covid which we were very grateful for as we got to watch it in our time and not miss out on anything.
The sessions are well structured, relaxed and everybody has a good time.

Freya was very informative, funny and has been a great support when myself or any other of the ladies in my group had any concerns or worries for their babies after birth and was very quick to respond and help out. The classes were very informative and engaging. Freya gave pragmatic advice and was non judgmental in respect of what can sometimes be contentious topics (for example she advocates that ‘fed is best’ rather than ‘breast is best’).
The class sizes are small so we had plenty of time to get to know the other couples in our class. We were also able to ask Freya lots of questions during the course, which was really useful as she’s a qualified midwife with many years of experience.
We also appreciated being able to ask Freya questions via WhatsApp after the completion of the course. The advice Freya gave us during my early labour and in the initial weeks post birth was invaluable.
Freya is an extremely competent and passionate midwife and my husband and I would highly recommend her classes to all expecting parents. read less
